Our Heart's Desire for Peace     [Print Version]

The other night I dreamed of Peace. When I awoke I wondered how it is we bring Peace here on earth. Right now there doesn't seem to be enough of it in the world. A desperation hangs over us, creating a tenseness that permeates our lives.

In my dream I saw that the world was at war and this war created a flat gray quality like on a TV screen. I was down under this and then stood up. I saw that when I did this I was surrounded and included in Peace. I couldn't figure out if my standing created the Peace or if I waited for the Peace to arrive and then stood in it and move with it.

This Peace is a multi-dimensional energy field. It has within it an aliveness that includes the whole of this world. This Peace arrives when we create a conscious relationship with the Divine. When we do, it feels like something in us stands up. And it does. It arrives when we begin to live from the center of our Self, our connection to the soul.

I was told that the world has forgotten Love and what we need is to remember our capacity. This capacity is the link that connects us to the depths of our heart. We have almost completely forgotten this deep dark place. This capacity is our ability to hold, receive, store and accommodate Love. Remembering this deep capacity within ourselves brings in a Love that includes the heart of the world.

When we say yes to remembering our connection and this deep capacity, then amazing things happen. Life can be included in this quality of the Divine, and this energy field then becomes part of our life. Priorities begin to shift. We become aware of a growing desire we have to follow this energy, to be included in it and to include it. We find in saying yes we have stood up. To say yes to remembering this deep capacity allows for Peace to permeate our world.
